EU funding programmes
The EU funding programmes in the fields of education, youth, research, culture and audiovisual
culture are implemented by national agencies, which also disseminate information about them. In
Finland these agencies include the Centre for International Mobility CIMO, EU Research and
Innovation Programmes (EUTI), the Academy of Finland and the Media Desk.
Education, culture and youth programmes
The Centre for International Mobility CIMO is responsible for implementing Lifelong Learning
Programme and other education programmes, the Youth in Action Programme, the Culture programme in
Finland and the "Europe for Citizens" programme 2007-2013.
Research programmes
The EU research programmes are managed by the EU Research and Innovation Programmes (EUTI)
organisation, attached to the technology fundind agency Tekes and by the Academy of Finland.
Audiovisual programmes
Attached to the Finnish Film Foundation is a Media Desk which functions as the national
agency for the Media programme.
